First
of all a provisional licence has to be applied for by filling
in a licence application and medical form. We can supply
these, or they can be obtained from most main post offices.
The medical should then be taken (usually at your Doctors
Surgery) and the forms subsequently posted to the DVLA.
On return of the licence, which will have a provisional
entitlement on it, the Theory Test can be applied for at
the local DSA office.
Please call the DSA direct on: 0870 01 01 372. There are
offices in Yeovil and Taunton where the test may be taken.
At this point, please contact us and we can arrange a driving
assessment from which we will be able to determine the estimated
number of hours it will take to get you up to test standard.
As a guide, most trainees usually require 18 - 25 hours
of tuition.
